Welcome ‘22/23 Committee

Thanks to all members who turned out to our AGM on 1 May, and to those that sent their apologies and proxy nominations. The meeting dealt with the usual business of the Club transitioning between seasons, including thanking the outgoing committee and electing the new Club committee.

This year our retiring committee members included President Adam Lewis. Adam has spent the last 5 seasons on the senior committee, the first as Secretary and the last four as President. In that time our Club community has grown, particularly with the inclusion of two thriving women's teams and a second veterans' side. Our welcoming community is a reflection of the values central to Adam's leadership, as he has helped the club achieve its strategic goals and work through the various challenges that get thrown at the committee. His guidance and support have been invaluable in setting CHCC up in a really strong position on and off the field.

Thanks Adam, for all your hard work and immense contribution to our Club!

Also retiring from the committee were Mark Jones and Louis Burstin who have been tireless in their work behind the scenes, particularly with respect to coordinating our veterans teams and social events respectively.

Thank you to these returning and new committee members. The lifeblood of a community club is the volunteer effort of all its members, and the committee in particular do a power of work to keep our Club thriving.
