Vale Bill Learhinan
Clifton Hill Cricket Club mourns the recent passing of former Club President Bill Learhinan.
Bill was President of the Club from 1993 to 1996 and was a member of a number of the Club’s committees.
He was a big man with a big, open and welcoming personality and worked hard to keep the club going through a very difficult period for the club, including as President when the club rooms burned down at Coulson Reserve.
Bill was a lower grade cricketer, a good bowler and a much loved figure in those teams. He was a big fan of club barbecues and getting people at the club together socially, and had an ability to hold court in just about any conversation.
He was a great teammate, a great club mate, and he will be missed.
